UPDATE Dec 2010: Segamat skydives only arranged for groups above 10 persons. Serious inquiries only.
Like the idea of free falling down to earth, dropping at speeds exceeding 100km per hour? You want to jump and enjoy the moment but not worry about the technicalities? Join us for a Tandem jump! It is a great introduction to skydiving! A one day activity with less than 30 minutes of training on the ground!
You arrive at the dropzone by 0800hours. Sign an indemnity form, watch a tandem skydiving video approved by the United States Parachuting Association(USPA) before receiving practical training. Then you wait your turn. When your jump comes up, you get suited up, reminded on your training then ushered into the plane. Before the jump, you will be securely harnessed to one of our very experienced Tandem Masters.
You will exit the aircraft, bewildered by the magnificent free-fall speed with the confidence of the Tandem Master who will open the parachute at 5,000ft. This will possibly be the most amazing, life-changing few minutes ride back to the drop zone! The Tandem Master is in complete control all the way! hint: you can request for skydive tricks before the jump
Segamat is the only dropzone available to civilians unlike in the 1990s and before, where Sungai Besi, Subang, Ipoh and Malacca Airfields were available. Skydive in Malaysia is erratic due to difficulty in getting Department of Civil Aviation approval and the fluctuating availability of recreational jumpers, students, instructors, dropzone, equipment and plane.
Skydive activities in Malaysia are customised and not run daily. Early planning is essential. If you have minimum 8pax, it might be easier for us to create a jump date. There several factors that must be available before a jump event is confirmed; availability of plane, instructor/equipment, fuel, dropzone, hanger and sufficient skydivers/students to spread out the costs.
Rates (in Malaysia Ringgit and per person)
RM1450 per pax (single booking)
RM1380 per pax (2pax and above)
Video/Photo RM550 per pax - DVD sent to you once edited at later date

Eligibility: Age 18 years and above. We suggest you seek your medical practitioner for a thorough check up prior to signing up.

Videography and Photography: Subject to availability on event date. There isn't a fixed rate as equipment may belong to recreational skydivers.
What to wear and bring?
It is cold in the skies but warm at the waiting area. There are jumpsuits provided but at limited numbers and sizes. If a jumpsuit is available, we recommend you wear a T-shirt, tights/sports shorts and sports shoes (no strapped sandals!!).
If there isn't a jumpsuit that fits you bring along a set of long sleeve shirt, jeans and sports shoes.
Suggest to bring your own food and drinks, video/photo camera with good zoom and a good vibe!
