Sarawak Chamber
The Sarawak Chamber is the largest known underground chamber in the world, measuring 600m long, 415m wide, and 80m high. It is estimated that it can house 8 Boeing 747s in row! Visiting the Sarawak Chamber requires a challenging full day activity of adventure caving, this is a once in a lifetime experience.

What do I get to do?
Show caves, the astounding Sarawak chamber and lots of hiking and caving
Itinerary
Day 1- We fly from Miri to Mulu. Check into the park accommodation. After lunch, we walk for 7 km (To and fro) to Lang and Deer Caves. Learn about cave formations.
Witness the exodus of bats flying out for food at dusk. Lunch and dinner at your own expenses at the park café. Overnight.
Day 2- After your breakfast, we ride a longboat to Wind and Clear Water caves. At 12 noon, we will try some adventurous caving for beginners at Turtle cave. (Wind and Clear Water caves are show caves). Time taken for Turtle cave is 45 minutes. Packed lunch will be provided. After lunch, we proceed to Racer cave by boat. This is an intermediate level cave, time taken is 3 to 4 hours. Dinner at your own expense. Overnight.
Day 3- After your breakfast, we begin the Sarawak Chamber trek, this is the biggest chamber in the world. The passage to enter is small. But once in, the chamber is truly enormous.
This takes journey takes 10 hours. (Packed lunch provided by us). Dinner on your own expense. Overnight.
Day 4- This morning after your breakfast, we check out the park accommodation and ride a boat to Kuala Litut. From there we begin hiking at Melinau trail for 3 hours covering 8.8 km. Overnight at Camp 5. (Lunch and Dinner provided by us)
Day 5- This morning, we begin the toughest leg of the adventure by climbing Mount Api to get to the 'Pinnacles'. This takes 8 hours to and back. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided by us). Overnight at Camp 5.
Day 6- Early in the morning after breakfast, we hike back to Kuala Litut. From there a boat will transfer us back to Mulu Park then continue on to Mulu airport. (Breakfast included). Tour ends.

Best time to visit
This tour can be run at any time during the year. If it's the rainy season, there will be more activities to do on the river. However, if it is raining on the day of your Pinnacles climb, the guide will be forced to cancel the trip.
Getting Here
Mulu is accessible by air daily from Miri, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching airport. From Kuala Lumpur, you can choose to either fly via Malaysia Airlines (MAS) or AirAsia to Miri and hop on a connecting flight from Miri to Mulu.
